What a year, and we still have almost 1.5 months left for something even more wild to pan out. With Covid, elections, and now a vaccine on the horizon, we’ve had very little time to even catch a breath. Absent any new information, it would seem like we are in store for better times. But we always have to include the unknown…
Trucking has weathered the busts this year fairly well, and given the high demand any vaccine rollout will require tight capacity could be on the horizon as it’s coupled with holiday ecommerce. Typically considered a bellwether for the economy, hopefully we are at a turning point not just for the economy, but also in global health.
2018 was seemingly the tightest capacity that the industry has faced in quite some time, and anything resembling a V-shape for the US recovery could bode well for trucks across the nation.
